Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust is improving its theatre efficiency through the Productive Operating Theatre Programme.
It is also part of the National Carbon Management Programme and aims to reduce its carbon footprint by 15% over the next five years. Both of these targets have received a major boost thanks to the introduction of custom procedure trays in all the trust’s operating theatres.
