By: Mölnlycke Health Care, October 15 2014Posted in: Events news

Mölnlycke Health Care is proud to support STOP Pressure Ulcer Day by offering a free webinar, chaired by Dr Joyce Black, on 29th October 12pm. The Proof into Practice Webinar will focus on the role of prophylactic dressings in pressure ulcer prevention, as recommended in the recently published Prevention and Treatment of Pressure Ulcers: Clinical Practice Guideline.

This webinar aims to deliver an educational session by internationally recognised experts, Professor Amit Gefen and Professor Nick Santamaria.

The educational session will focus on recent scientific and clinical research key findings and putting these findings into practice that will ultimately improve clinical outcomes and reduce treatment costs.

It can often be challenging to change protocols, the webinar will also highlight the importance of involving various stakeholders in order to gain acceptance of evidence-based changes in clinical practice.  This includes latest research into the prophylactic effect of Mepilex® Border Heel presented by prominent key speakers.
