The Risk Assessment Tool by Mölnlycke: an evidence based tool

The Risk Assessment Tool is described in the publication “The Simplified Surgical Site Event Risk Assessment (SSERA) Model” which was published in Wounds International in 2023.

The background research and development of the risk assessment tool described in this publication were conducted by the SSERA Group, chaired by R. Morgan-Jones, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgon. The SSERA Group consists of 9 consultants paid by Molnlycke Health Care AB. Although a Molnlycke employee was involved in the background research, Molnlycke has not controlled (or regulated) the research carried out by the members of the SSERA Group
